Earlier this year I was approached to offer PR support to the MND&Me Foundation for their first Giving Day held on Thursday May 6th, in line with National MND Awareness Week (Sunday 2nd of May – Sunday 9th of May).

The MND&Me Foundation was established by Scott Sullivan who was diagnosed in 2010 at the age of 38, and sadly died of MND in 2014. The Foundation is his legacy.  Today they continue to raise awareness of MND and its impact in the community. Scott saw a desperate need to assist people living with MND, as well as their families, to maintain their independence and quality of life for as long as possible. Personally, my life would look very different without them and I’m truly grateful for their ongoing support.

My story was featured in She Society #sheinspires, you can check it out here.
