** LEANNE’S STORY & CITY2SURF CHALLENGE **
“A month ago, a few members of the O’Brien Real Estate Foundation had the honour of attending a fantastic fundraiser night for Leanne Sklavenitis. A local woman from Endeavour Hills and a long term client & friend of O’Brien Real Estate.
Unfortunately Leanne was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease; a terribly debilitation & progressive disease that completely takes over all of your motor skills. She disclosed to us that one of her final wishes was to complete the Sydney City2Surf Run – as she is a long time past participate of – and complete it this one last time! Although she is unable to complete the course unassisted, excitingly one of our Foundation Members will be assisting Leanne this Sunday by pushing her wheelchair! The O’Brien Real Estate Foundation has donated funds to help make this happen.
We are so very moved by Leanne’s drive & ‘never give up’ attitude & are sending the Team competing in the Sydney City2Surf this weekend all the support they need!! Go Leanne Sklavenitis!
