After so many delays, the big day finally arrived! And I couldn’t be more grateful to be able to spend that time with my family and friends.
A big thanks to everyone who could make it to my Awesome Lunch on Saturday. After a couple of false starts over the past two months, we were lucky enough to be able to go ahead with the event, which ended up being twice the fun because we had 2 lunch sittings to ensure there were less than 100 people in the room. This meant a full day of Awesomeness which, for me, began at 11am and finished around 7pm.
It was a great opportunity to tell everyone how I’ve been going in more detail and catch up with wonderful friends and family. We handed out a lot of new orange wrist bands and had a photo frame for people to post #leannesbeawesomeeveryday on their socials to encourage others to ‘Be Awesome Everyday’.
One of the things I’ve been working on lately and launched at the event is my new website leannesklavenitis.com which I’ve set up as a legacy site and will feature a bunch of inspirational stories that will be shared from the night. And for those who missed the special event you’ll be able to see a video soon once we’ve collated all the great footage taken on the day. I’ll let you know once its posted on the website.
A great day was had by all and I’m so grateful for those who could make it at such short notice and appreciate all the messages from those who couldn’t.
With speeches, door prizes, slide shows and videos the day was even more special than I could ever have imagined. Thanks again for all your love and support and for being Awesome Everyday!
